The advantages from a mason’s point of view...

Greenblock's high-performance Insulated Concrete Forms are hollow polystyrene foam blocks that are stacked into the shape of the exterior walls of a structure and serve as forms for reinforced concrete. The sides of the blocks are connected by a unique polypropylene tie system that serves as a rebar holder as well as furring strips for the attachment of interior and exterior finishes.

Greenblock's new technology performs five basic building functions in one step: 1) form-work, 2) insulation, 3) vapor barrier, 4) air barrier, and 5) strapping for wall finish materials.
Stem walls, basements, single and multi-story residences to apartments, condominiums, towers and even swimming pools can be built with Greenblock.  The options are limitless at prices far lower than you may expect.
Utility companies see the energy conservation benefits, while insurance companies looking at structural value and safety have begun to offer discounted rates.

Builders
Providing a quality structure with a realistic bottom line is increasingly difficult to build with wood and block.  Lumber prices go up while quality goes down.  Skilled labor is increasingly harder to find while local, county, state and federal regulations require higher standards.  Buyers are better educated and demand finished products that are higher in quality and lower in cost.

Architects & Engineers
Greenblock is your creative alternative to solving your design needs and the needs of your clients, helping you reach your design goals easily, efficiently, and on time.

Homeowners & Do-It-Yourself
You expect more from your new home.  You want beauty, functionality, value, quality and security in addition to lower maintenance and utility bills and a healthier living environment.
Greenblock is competitively priced with easy construction. Whether you are a do-it yourself builder or plan on hiring the work out, Greenblock walls are erected with minimal instruction.  The insulated walls are then filled with concrete, wiring and plumbing are then added, and finally your interior/exterior wall finishes are applied directly to the GreEnblock walls, no additional prep work needed.  Energy savings are built in. Greenblock is the most Eco-friendly method of construction.

Standard Block
The size of a Greenblock standard form makes building easier and faster than you ever thought possible
1. A true flat-wall system makes for better concrete distribution inside the wall for a stronger more secure wall.
2. 8 sub-surface webs hold the panels together, as furring strips to attach interior/exterior wall finishes to, and to eliminate thermal transference.
3. Lego-like attachments allow each block to lock together, eliminating the need to glue or strap the product together like other systems on the market.
A Greenblock wall is stronger, straighter and more solid than a stick built wall.

Sub-Surface Webs
Greenblock webs act as the frame. The patented web holds the two panels of Styrofoam together forming a rigid structure capable of supporting the concrete within. It prohibits thermal bridging, hold rebar in place and serves as strapping paddles to attach interior/exterior wall finishes.

90-Degree Corner
Greenblock pre-maid 90 keeps the project moving.

45-Degree Corner
Incorporating a series of 45 corners adds a unique statement like bay windows to any home.

End Piece
Acts as a dam to stop concrete from flowing out of your wall. The tongue and groove design allows the end piece to virtually lock to the block keeping you from needing to glue the pieces together

Lintel
The three-sided lintel is placed at the top of your window or door, and once filled with concrete acts as your header

Space/Height Adjusters
Ideal for under windows and allow for flexibility in room height.
